Wait In Your Auto was developed shortly after the discovery of the COVID Virus. The customer wanted an easy way to have a small number of patients/customers in the office. An app was designed for the customer to use. Once close to the office, they could select Check-In. The office would use a web browser to see the list of waiting customer and could send them a message or a single click to come on in.

The challenge of project

The coding language we used was Dart/Flutter. It was very new when we first started and caused some issues along they way. Also, we had issues with acquiring customers. We were late to the game and there was a certain segment of the population that didn’t want anything to do with technology like this.

The result of project

It was a great learning experience. The decision to use Flutter was absolutely correct. Google is the main driver behind Flutter and is now one of the fastest growing coding languages around. We also used MongoDB as the backend with NO servers. The simplicity was amazing.
